The Economic Prosperity Committees
Recognising the benefits of closer joint working to drive economic development and growth and to streamline decision making, joint Economic Prosperity Committees have been set up, covering the North Midlands Devolution Deal geographical area.
The meetings are attended by representatives from all 19 local authorities and the D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), a private sector led board of businesses, local authorities, skills and training providers, voluntary and community organisations.
The Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Economic Prosperity is hosted by Nottingham City Council and includes the following councils: Nottingham City; Nottinghamshire County Council, Ashfield District Council; Bassetlaw District Council; Broxtowe Borough Council; Gedling Borough Council; Mansfield District Council; Newark and Sherwood District Council; Rushcliffe Borough Council
The Derby and Derbyshire Economic Prosperity Committee is hosted by Derby City Council and includes the following councils: Derby City Council; Derbyshire County Council; Amber Valley Borough Council; Bolsover District Council; Chesterfield Borough Council; Erewash Borough Council; High Peak Borough Council; North East Derbyshire District Council; South Derbyshire District Council.
